Bellesini partners with more than 30 local organizations to provide services and programs to our students:
Academy of Notre Dame, Austin Prep, Brooks School, Central Catholic, Groton School, Noble & Greenough, Notre Dame Cristo Rey, Phillips Academy Andover, Pingree School, and St. John’s Prep all provide scholarships to our alumni.
Merrimack College, Phillips Andover & Brooks School send students & faculty to tutor during Bellesini’s Evening Study program.
Merrimack College’s Stevens Learning Center sends faculty & students to do tutoring, mentoring and science enrichment.
Lawrence Public Schools provides breakfast & lunch through the USDA Free & Reduced Lunch program each day.
The Highland Street Foundation sponsors and funds our Philanthropy Club, an annual field trip for all of our students to Boston Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker, and provides gifts for students for our Feast of Three Kings celebration.
The Lawrence Cultural Council funds two cultural field trips for Bellesini students each year.
WorldCom Exchange, Inc. of Salem, New Hampshire created an employee volunteer program provides Bellesini with Career Day speakers, Evening Study tutors, and Science Fair judges.
The Feaster Five Road Race, Merrimack Valley Striders and Dave McGillivray Sports Enterprises have designated Bellesini as one of the race beneficiaries since 2013.
Bellesini utilizes Common Sense Media’s free Digital Literacy and Citizenship Curriculum, which empowers students to think critically and make informed choices about how they create, communicate, and treat others in the digital world.
We partner with Families First to present four parenting workshops to Bellesini parents each year that teach them how to take control of their parenting using proven discipline and communication strategies. Different workshop topics are presented each year, providing parents with the opportunity to learn a variety of different skills.
The Cummings Foundation has partnered with us to help open the Girls’ School. The foundation granted a four year “$100k for 100 grant that is meant to assist in opening the school and helping it expand to 60 girls by fall 2018.
Bellesini’s After-School Program benefits from collaborations with many local organizations:
Nashoba Valley Learn to Ski Program provides ski instruction to our students during the winter months.
Lawrence YMCA runs after-school and summer programs for Bellesini, including Music Clubhouse & swimming lessons.
Greater Lawrence Educational Collaborative Academic Bowl, Destination ImagiNation, Math Counts, Invention Convention, and the Geography Bee hosted by the Lawrence Public Library.
Bellesini’s basketball teams compete against other schools in the Merrimack Valley Catholic Basketball League.
The City of Lawrence Parks & Recreation Office allows our sports teams to schedule practices and games on their fields.
Mary Immaculate Nursing Home & Cor Unum Meal Center provide community service opportunities for our students to serve others in Lawrence.
Bellesini students benefit from a variety of collaborations during the summer months:
St. John’s Prep hosts Bellesini’s 4-week summer program on its campus, and provides lunch to our students in its cafeteria.
The Governor’s Academy, Pingree School and the Lawrence YMCA provide summer camp scholarships to our students.
Lawrence Community Boating provides summer programs for our students.
The Bellesini Alumni Support Program collaborates with local agencies to provide college bound opportunities to alumni:
Bellesini enrolls our alumni in Let’s Get Ready, a national program that provides SAT preparation, college visits, and guidance for college selection, applications, financial aid and scholarships to our alumni.
Bellesini also works with uAspire, a non-profit organization that provides free financial aid advice, education, and advocacy to help students overcome the financial barriers to achieving their dreams of a college degree.
Brooks School, Central Catholic High School, and St. John’s Prep provide SAT prep courses to Bellesini alumni.
The Academy is a sponsor organization for the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund, which offers college scholarships to students with financial need who display academic excellence.
