Doreen Keller – Interim Head of School

Bellesini Academy proudly welcomes Doreen Keller as our Interim Head of School. A dedicated educator and leader with over 23 years of experience in Massachusetts secondary schools and an equally impressive 23-year tenure in Catholic education, Mrs. Keller brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our community.

A graduate of St. Monica School and Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, Mrs. Keller went on to earn a B.S. in Mathematics from Simmons University, followed by two master’s degrees, one in Educational Administration from UMass Lowell and another in Technology in the School from Lesley University. She also holds a Mentorship Certificate from Lesley University and has a strong commitment to faith-based education, having served as Religious Education Director at Holy Family Parish in Amesbury, MA, for 10 years.

Her professional journey includes roles as a math teacher and assistant principal at Methuen High School and a curriculum advisor for the math department at Newburyport High School. She then transitioned into Catholic education, spending six years as Dean of Students at Central Catholic High School before serving as Principal for 14 years.

With a deep-rooted belief in academic excellence and character formation, Mrs. Keller is honored to lead Bellesini Academy during this transition, continuing our mission of empowering students to achieve their highest potential.
